Do you want to join my charity?

My plan is to open a free cancer hospital in Punjab. Where everyone, specially poor people will be able to get free treatment. I know many of the charitable hospitals in Punjab, that are more expensive than a private hospital. I worked in couple of hospitals in Punjab. Cost of one week admission in these hospitals is nearly 40 to 50,000 rupees (£ 700 to £1000). They are all chores, I mean thieves, who are squeezing blood from poor people veins. No doubt they have got very good doctors and good standards but also they do malpractice blatantly. by wasting people money on non relevant investigations. For example; All headaches need CT/MRI scan! All silent gall stones need removal of gall bladder, All normal deliveries need C section, all infections need high phi expensive antibiotics etc. This list is endless.

Most of the charitable hospitals are run by big businessmen to save their tax. Highly qualified doctors who work in these hospitals are so greedy and hungry, that they can do anything to earn money. I did internship in Civil Hospital Ludhiana, 99% Doctors in this hospital works privately. They hardly come to the hospital and most of the time they spent in their own hidden clinics at their home, because they are not suppose to work privately once they are government doctors. Another thing they earn lots of money by signing illegal forms/documents, giving fake/wrong reports on post mortems.

I saw people begging for help, I saw people dying in these private/charitable/government hospitals, because they can’t afford these expensive hospitals. I know people don’t pay any tax in India. But I don’t think that things will change if they start paying tax properly. End of the day this all money will go to our bloody politicians pockets.
