Dr Manmohan Singh   Senior GP Partner/Principal
Qualifications; MBBS, MRCGP

He was born and studied in India and began working in George Eliot from Sept 2010. He has been working in NHS since 2004. Completed his GP Training (GPVTS) locally where he gained lots of experience in different specialties in hospital from women’s health, children health and Geriatrics. He speaks multiple languages from Punjabi, Hindi, Urdu and English. He has a broad experience in hospital specialty including Psychiatry, Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Geriatrics, AE, Neurology, Gynaecology and General Medicine. Dr Singh also provides Health Promotions in the local Community Centres.

Dr Singh has completed Mental Capacity Act, and Section 12 of the Mental Health Act 1983

Including courses on Substance misuse and Alcohol misuse

Lauren Baker – Apprentice Clinical Associate in Psychology and Maddie Groves

Lauren Baker, Apprentice Clinical Associate in Psychology (ACAP), and Maddie Groves, Assistant
Psychologist (AP), will be delivering psychological therapies across GP practices within the PCN.
Psychological / talking therapy is a safe space for patients to talk about their experiences and how
they impact on thoughts, feelings, behaviour, physical health and relationships. Therapy provides
validation, a shared understanding and solutions to reduce distress and stress.

Social Prescribers have a caseload of patients and take a holistic approach to their health and wellbeing. They work closely to identify areas of need and provide practical guidance and emotional support to achieve the best outcomes. Social Prescribers help promote community and social participation, which enhances patients’ quality of life.

Midwife

Ms Collete French is our midwife. She work on every Tuesday morning (Appointment only). She is our nominated midwife in our surgery provided by UHCW.


Health Visitors

Are based at Hillfields Health Centre and can be contacted on 02476 961 415. The Community Health Visitor along with your Doctor and Midwife are available to offer advice on positive health measures for those planning a pregnancy.

We do monthly meeting with midwife and health visitor to promote and improve health care of vulnerable patients and mothers.


Community District Nurses

If you need any help from District Nurses please let us know. We always refer high risk and house bound patients to District nurses for better care. They play a great role in your well being.


Community Macmillan Nurses

These Nurses visit and care for cancer patients in their homes and give advice and support. Their day time number is 02476 965498. Evening number is 02476 841900. They will help you if you are suffering with terminal illness or cancer.


Social Services

Social services team help with all kinds of social problems. The team includes the home care organiser, social worker and occupational therapist. They can be contacted on Coventry 02476 833003. Please press the options.
